Description:

The BA in Psychology offered at Webster is designed to build a strong foundation of understanding, interpreting, analyzing and applying the study of psychology in different contexts.

In this program, students get to develop a superior and more in-depth understanding of the complexities and diversity of human behavior and behavioral patterns. Students also get to learn about theories and concepts of psychology behind most of these behavioral elements. The program uses both scientific approach and philosophical approach towards understanding psychology. Both theoretical concepts, and experimental data are taken into account during the study. Students are also encouraged to develop and apply problem-solving aptitude, and clear communication, as an aid to expand their knowledge horizons.

    To apply to the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology at Webster Leiden, you must submit:

    • Application form
    • A copy of your high school diploma and transcript
    • Four years of English
    • At least three years of math
    • At least two years of modern language
    • At least two years of natural or physical science
    • At least three years of social science
    • Two years of academic electives
    • A copy of your passport’s biographical page, plus any current residence permit or visa for the Netherlands. Please inform us if we need to apply for your visa/resident permit.
    • All applicants are asked to submit a 400-500-word essay on a topic of their choice. Most students take this opportunity to state why they would like to study at Webster University. You may also describe a special area of interest, experience or achievement. Additionally, you may also submit a resume of relevant academic, extracurricular and professional experience.

    • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration)
